The library offers the 21st century technologies for use by residents of our rural community, including a stable environment for online work and entertainment, access to emerging technologies, and digital literacy opportunities for all ages.

Public Workstations

  • Sit-down PC workstations in the Adult areas
    • Log in with a library system ID and PIN or use a guest pass at any available computer station
  • Walk-up iPad and PC workstations for quick access
  • Two computers dedicated to the online catalog, StarCat
  • Internet connections meet CIPA standards
  • Flatbed scanner workstation
  • Microfilm scanner workstation
  • Black & white ($0.25/pg) and color ($1/pg) printers
  • Ultimaker 3D Printer
  • DaVinci Enhanced Vision Viewer

Wifi Service

  • Connect your device to the David A. Howe Library public network (password – WellsvilleNY)
  • Available throughout the main floor, terraces, auditorium, and parking lot
  • Black & white printing available: $0.25/pg

Technology Space

  • A space for individual and community tech learning and creation
  • Try out an ereader, tablet, camera or any of the gadgets in our Tech Lab
  • Ask about using our Laptop Lab with laptops and digital projector for your group or presentation
  • Tech Help available by appointment

Digital Literacy

  • Special classes on a variety of topics
  • Sign up for Tech Lab for one-on-one help
