- Gcflearnfree – Many free basic skills classes are available for the computer, jobs, and personal finance. This is a site we recommend in Tech Lab to learn new programs or for a quick review.
- Webucator – This site offers many self-paced technical classes for library patrons. These are free with a voucher number which must be obtained by using the form here. There are courses available for Microsoft Office, WordPress, HTML, CSS, Photoshop, and more. Other courses are available for a fee.

- Scroll down on the page and find the course you are interested in.
- Click the Register button.
- Fill out your information.
- Change Payment Method to “Webucator Vouchers”.
- Enter voucher number.
- Khan Academy – Free courses for school students from kindergarten to high school. Some computer programming, math, science, test prep for SAT, and more. For teachers, parents and students.
- W3schools – Free courses on building websites using html, css, javascript, and more programming languages.
- TechBoomers – Courses for older adults and other inexperienced technology users on social websites, shopping online, online entertainment, and technology basics.
- DuoLingo – Learn a language for free online. Spanish, French, German, Russian, and many more languages are available.
